Unfortunately, no. Due to licensing restrictions in the state of New York, I am only legally allowed to provide virtual Telehealth sessions to folks who live in the state of New York at the time the session occurs.
I am only in-network with Oscar, United Health care, Oxford, Aetna, and Cigna. I am an out-of-network provider . Here are some questions that might be helpful when you speak with your insurance company:
1. What are my “out-of-network” outpatient mental health insurance benefits?
2. What is my deductible and have I met it?
3. Is it possible to meet with a provider that I choose and submit receipts for reimbursement?
4. Are there any limitations on how many services will be covered a year?
5. What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
6. How long will it take to get my reimbursement?
7. Do I need a referral from a primary care physician?
Our time is valuable. Your session time is reserved for you, even if you do not attend it. Sessions must be rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours before the start of your session in order to waive the cancellation fee. You will be invoiced for the missed session and the session cannot be billed to your insurance. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Through deep listening and support, I provide a safe and nurturing space to support in naming and achieving your goals. You are the expert in your life, I am merely a guide in providing tools to regulate your nervous system. We can meet for weekly sessions or biweekly sessions, depending on your schedule.
If you feel that it’s the right fit for you, you can book your first official session whenever you’re ready! I will send you a link with intake and consent forms to the email you provided. This will be filled out before your first therapy session. All sessions are done via the provided patient portal. I will send you an email with all the necessary information, outlining the process before our first session.
I take a trauma-informed approach to your treatment, assessing the physical, social, spiritual, sexual, and emotional aspects of your identity and how they impact your life. Due to COVID-19, I will only be providing telehealth (video) sessions. Our sessions will take place in a HIPAA compliant video platform.
